Kool Aid Nation versus April and Therese.

As I've said before, one of the more annoying things about reading the hilariously nisnamed mailbag called "Elly's Cofee Talk" is having to see the number of posts that slam Therese and April. The reason, of course, is that the fans play fast and loose with the facts that Lynn placed on the page to support their arguments. In short, Lynn's word is law execpt when it's not. Their refusal to be logically consistent themselves seems to be a clue as to why they hate Therese and April so much. The two of them do something these people don't like: using the brains God gave them. Their hero Liz, you see, is praised for not noticing the obvious. They love that she refused to entertain the notion that Eric was stepping out on her, that Howard Bunt was a threat, that Warren was setting her up for an embarassing encounter with Paul and Susan. That's because they think of her smug, wilfull ignorance as a sweet, pure faith in mankind. Therese, I'd say, was supposed to not notice that her husband was not over Liz. This hatred of people who call attention to the elephant in the living room extends to April and her thinking through things too much. She saw through John's bare-faced liestatement that the Housening wasn't a certainty therefore she does not blindly trust a selfish and revolting liarrespect and trust her father.
