How to screw up a breakup

It always bothered me that the "Second Chances" section on the fborfw.com homepage went out of its way to declare that Thérèse as the greatest obstacle to a happy Settlepocalypse. This is because I remembered that Warren was still around and, as far as he knew, was still Liz's boyfriend. She didn't really mean to lead the man on but she was also too ready to avoid a necessary confrontation. If she'd flat out told him why his job bothered her and that she honestly didn't see how things would work out, he'd probably get angry but he'd know where he stood. By being meek when she didn't have to, she borrowed trouble from the future. It seemed obvious to me that he would one day reappear and mess things up by declaring himself. Strangely enough, this fact seemed to elude Kool-Aid Nation. They all identified Thérèse as the person who'd stand in the way of Lizthony's happiness. It seems odd to praise Lynn but she has blindsided her fanbase. People who think, not so much, though.
