Meet The Unknown

Of course, by the time Mike thinks very stupid thoughts about his late mother for the same reason said dingdong thought stupid thoughts about another person she had no real time for either, a figure mentioned in passing will have grown to young adulthood: James Allen Caine. We're told that Liz presented him to Grandpa Jim just before he passed away but that's all we do get told. It's not hard to see what his life will be like, though, is it?

For starters, it doesn't take a genius to realize that Liz will have stupidly pitted him against his half-sister out of a combination of malice, self-pity and (mostly) knuckle-dragging stupidity....just like the mother she doesn't really see herself as having much in common with. It also stands to reason that Anthony is just another shitty father who varies between making bad word play and yapping aggression because he's a spineless tool who sees everything as a threat....just like his asshole father-in-law. Combine that with his being directed to believe that a grandmother who ignores him and neglects him is better than someone who treats him as if he were a person and not a hindrance and you'll realize that he's going to be another asshole.
