Meet The Policemen

The odd thing about the Lynn versus Traffic Court And Also Objective Reality arc is the role that the officer at the scene played. The idea I got from watching Elly project her fears of the lower orders on the blank canvas of the guy with the beard is that the policeman was derelict in his duty by not shooting Pervrett in the face for having facial hair in the presence of a doughheaded matron who frightened easily.

This is because I have a really stupid habit called remembering all of the other times that the Pattersons had interacted with the police. The only time Five-Oh was ever seen in a positive light was when a pair in a cruiser stopped Mike and Rhetta from going to second base. Every other time, they were depicted as coddling criminals and threatening solid citizens with arrest because of a baffling to nitwits tendency to look down on vigilantism.
