Harridan/Henchman: Meet The Witless Instigator Of Doom

The irritating thing about the Patterson's claims to have been on Gordon's side during the current arc is that John's being the most useless bystander ever distracts us from his wife's active stupidity. First off, she witlessly sets things in motion by stupidly leaving her keys in the ignition like a boob and second, she does something thoughtless, graceless and stupid: she grasses to his parents about the stupid thing he did that was her fault.

This is because she is too out of it to understand that other families handle things differently. It never occurred to her that she might be setting the boy up to get the tar wailed out of him because she just can't think. All she knows about the matter is that for some reason, he was able to start her car and she's sure she didn't leave the key in the ignition like a moron...just like she didn't daydream her way into an intersection in John's sports car and collide with some poor slob in a sedan who had the actual right of way.
