Attention must not be paid....

Like I said a few months back, these people seem incapable of paying attention to their surroundings. Whether it's inspired by ignorance or arrogance, they can never seem to take anything like a precaution and the children almost always are the ones most in jeopardy. The archetype for this is April and the Ravine of Death. I'm pretty sure the cops weren't all that impressed when the Patterson family told their side of the story. We also have the more recent mess wherein Merrie was left alone with the dogs because Elly was doing something far more important than watching over a small child: fucking around with her damned earrings! Let's not forget the stupid way they handled the whole Howard Bunt incident. I'd also like to call to your attention the Jeremy Jones mess. The hateful little brute was gonna beat the holy living shit outta April 'cause his Daddy left him to play music and what did they do? Shit fucking all! The situation was only resolved due to a motorist who thought turn signals were the tool of the devil. With parents like John and Elly, it's no bloody wonder Mike has no idea what to do with Merrie and Robin.
