a) Young lady with small child at shopping mall.
b) Young lady stops to chat with other person.
c) Child stands around trying to get Mommy's attention because she's bored.
d) Young lady continues talking because she forgot what it was to be a five-year-old who thinks Mom is deliberately ignoring her instead of just getiing caught up in the moment.
e) I wanna either throw up or tell the lady to gossip on her own dime because the kid could wander off while she's flapping her gums.
Now I know that rasing children is tiring and it's only natural to want some sort of relief but would it kill some of these people tp plan the trip ahead a little better? It's like taking the mental effort to look at things from their child's prespective is too much to ask. I mean, to a five-year-old an hour is like an eternity, erspecially in an unfamiliar setting. And it's not like they've learned to sugarcoat their discomfort either. When a toddler isn't happy, everybody knows it. The woman in question could be the most conscientious, caring woman God placed on this Earth, but one afternoon of miscalculation and she looks like a callous, glue-sniffing sociopath.
