Laura: even the girls (don't) want her.....

The most insistent of the voices that exhort Candi to step outside her comfort zone is a young woman named Laura; regnad_kcin nicknames her "The Sucky Succubus" because, well, she thinks that she's a lot more irresistible than she actually is. Starline has gotten a fair amount of mileage of the young woman with the curly hair boasting about how hot she is and how many of her dates have crashed and burned on her. Her other primary contribution to the plot was the series of grade-school level pranks she and another housemate played on Linda as a means of punishing her for upsetting the apple-cart. Even though Candi didn't participate or think that it'd serve any purpose, Linda marched right on over to Alex's to whine at how mean Candi was being because, well, she'd do the same thing and couldn't picture anyone not doing it. She also was at pains to convince him to not march over and lecture these people based on the misapprehension that he'd actually believe them if they explained how she'd deceived him; the Alex I know is so in love with the notion that he's smart, he's the dumbest guy in the cast.
