The bridges of Patterson rage.

The note attached to the strip which re-ran on 2 February 2011 had, as we know, an element that disturbed and revolted most of the people who read it; that's because Lynn not only put it out there that there were times she'd loved to have pushed her children off a bridge, she seemed to think that people would sympathize with her for doing so. This points us back to my premise that she's a low-expectation having motherfrakker in that she wants praise for not giving in to her pointless, needless rage about, well, not a Hell of a lot. About the only reassuring element in the whole thing is that her baffling fury when faced with children who feel needy or who don't immediately understand what adults want or try to make sense of her endless, arbitrary and contradictory rules is finally more explicable: simply put, she's a woman who doesn't understand or relate to children and should not have been permitted to reproduce who thinks that she had to to be thought of as an adult.
