The Little Lynnie Show Explained.

One thing you can't help but notice about the Lynnsights is that you often find yourself asking the question "What, if anything, does Lynn's talking about her own childhood have to do with today's strip?" This is because when we expect her to harrumph about how annoyed she was at her own children when they did what she depicts Mike, Liz or April as doing, she talks at length about her own childhood. The end result is, as I've said, that we get a picture of a woman who has a lot of hostility stored up about events that happened ages ago and needs an outlet to explain why it's necessary and good that she hold on to grudges and misunderstandings from the fifties and sixties.

You would think that she would simply start up a blog like almost everyone else in the world but, as bcrowessteffi speculated, the fact that she's too afraid of computers and just plain too fidgety a person to do anything more than write little notes about grumpy guards and old teachers that only partway relate to what's happening. Any attempt to get her to do so would force the would-be benefactor to steer between the Scylla of technopanic and the Charybdis of a two-second long attention span.
