Children under ten and other lethal weapons: Will Lynn go there?

Now that we're pretty much at the other side of the Pattersons' forced interaction with airport security and their need to confiscate because they care, I'd like to tell you what I find most objectionable about this arc. It's not that Jobsworth is playing his role in the security theatre to the hilt or that the Pattersons are going to die convinced that they're on someone's watch list or even that John thinks that it could have been avoided were he able to find a kennel that took children. What I'm worried about is that Lynn or one of her lickspittles might somehow imply that the people who died when extremists flew the planes they were on into buildings to make a political point were lucky because they didn't have to share their planes with Lynn's kids.

The reason I fear this is because I happen to do a really moronic thing called "paying attention to what's happening around me"; this bad habit of mine causes me to see things that I'd rather not. One of these things is that Lynn really doesn't seem to have much of an idea of what's appropriate to say. The concept that there are jokes that should never be told might just be lost on someone who delights in the existence of her leering and anatomically correct rubber homonculus and makes a meal of what a trial domesticity is. She might just go there.
